Roots.
Layer One Graphics has its roots tracing back to the year 1999 in the back of a small design class. Officially formed and further developed in 2006 by Jason Smith as a senior class project, LayerOne has evolved and taken off in multiple areas. Everything in life consists of layers; people, music, and especially a growing business. The first layer is the first step and the most important one.

Jason SmithFounder / CEO / Director
Artist by heart. Business by nature. Balanced by Libra. Jason is a very diversely skilled individual who has an incredible work ethic. He spends countless hours perfecting everything he is involved in. Jason earned his B.F.A. in Digital Art and Design from C.W. Post: Long Island University. After many years of experience in sales, finance, computer programming and design, he founded Layer One to fufill his dream of expressing his creativity as a career. His diverse skillset and background allowed him to take on multiple tasks and rapidly develop Layer One as a business.
Chantal EscobarDirector / Consultant
Designing captivating materials and memorable visual brands for over seven years, Chantale specializes in creating clean, modern designs that inspire and engage audiences for nonprofit organizations and foundations as well as the fashion and art world. Chantale will bring her fresh eye to all the graphic elements by developing compelling advertising and collateral.
Chantale honed her skills at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where she graduated with a degree in graphic design.
Chantale has another outlet to creativeness – accessory design. Eclectique Collection is unique and an elegant array of upcycling – creating one of a kind, funky works of art.
